Turbines are a type of Colonial light-aircraft constructed at the end of the fleet's journey to Earth. They were engineered for the use of Warrior teams sent to infiltrate Earth's society, and so appeared outwardly to be motorcycles, with the additional feature of deployable wings for flying.[1] They were also built with nuclear field generators, which could camouflage them at the expense of significant power.[1]
