2004 Continuity

This is a timeline of the Battlestar Galactica universe, a chronological record of events relevant to the story and lore. This timeline uses dates in terms of years before the Cylon Holocaust. After the Cylon Holocaust, an out-of-universe dating system centered around the Fall of the Twelve Colonies marking the beginning of Year 0. The events are sorted in chronological order, from the beginning of the universe.

Two different in-universe calendars can also be observed:

  • Official calendar of the United Colonies of Kobol, with the Cylon holocaust falling on the year 21355.[1]
  • Official calendar of the planet Caprica, with the Cylon holocaust falling on the year 2000.[2]
