The Thirteenth Tribe was a human nation who resided on the planet Kobol until the mass-exodus.
History[]
It was famous in the later mythologies of the other Twelve Tribes for having ventured out to space in a different direction and ceasing communication with them. What is factually known of the Thirteenth Tribe is that they settled on a number of planets and developed into two distinct cultural groups, each genetically distinct and separate from the humans of the Twelve Tribes. While Terra's atmosphere was roughly the same as Caprica's,[1] Earth's was smaller and its people thrived in those conditions.[2]
