The Fleet, or the "rag-tag fugitive fleet", was a fleet of Galactican vessels which carried survivors of the Twelve Colonies of Man in search for Earth.
Overview[]
The fleet consisted mostly of civilian ships that assembled around Galactica when Commander Adama called for all survivors to escape in any ship they could find shortly after the Cylon holocaust led by Baltar.[1] Most of these vessels were never supposed to or expected to be used again, they were only available because the Cylons did not see them as targets as they were old and unreliable ships. The fleet was comprised of roughly 200 ships, although a few were destroyed in Cylon raids.
