Battlestar Galactica 2004, Caprica and Blood & Chrome
Tamara-A was an advanced, sentient AI which was created in the years leading up to the Cylon War. She was based on Tamara Adams, a Tauron-Caprican killed in the 1942 Caprica City Maglev bombing.
Biography[]
Tamara-A was created through the Avatar Program, a sophisticated data gathering program. The technology, developed by Zoe Graystone, was previously used to successfully create Zoe-A before her death in the same bombing. Tamara-A's own conception was as part of a criminal agreement between Dr. Daniel Graystone and Ha'La'Tha lawyer Joseph Adama, wherein a computer chip be stolen and exchanged in return for Tamara-A and Shannon-A, the latter of whom was never created. When uploaded to V-World, Tamara-A had a panic attack and was subsequently abandoned by Graystone and Adama, who assumed after that her program had degraded and crashed.[1]
