Plot[]

"Morale continues to rise, due in part of the number of habitable planets we encounter and the reintroduction of amenities we enjoyed before the destruction of the Colonies. Once again, although on a limited scale, we are able to partake of music and the theater and when the occasion warrants, even indulge in ceremony."

When Lieutenant Starbuck enlists Captain Apollo's aid in helping him win back the affections of his long-lost love, Aurora, they become involved in a power struggle between Kronus, the iron-fisted commander of the Celestra, Kronus' power-hungry junior officer Charka, and the Celestra's mutinous freedom-fighting crew who want to remove the commander from power. Charka uses the opportunity to seize the Celestra for himself, trapping Starbuck and Apollo on board. The mutineers attempt to enlist Starbuck and Apollo to join them, then discover that it is Charka, not Kronus, who is responsible for the abysmal working conditions aboard the Celestra. Kronus sacrifices his own life in the final battle to retake the ship from Charka, who is arrested along with his compatriots and sentenced to the Prison Barge.
