Lieutenant Sorrell was an officer in the Colonial military. A Shuttle pilot on Galactica, she escaped the destruction of the colonies by the Cylons. Not long after the escape, Lieutenant Sorrell was put under emergency retraining as a Viper pilot, when the men of Blue Squadron fell sick to a disease.[1]
