Serina was a Warrior who served on board the Battlestar Galactica following the Battle of Cimtar.
Biography[]
Following the fleet's escape from Carillon, Serina heard of Commanda Adama's request for fresh pilots, and underwent shuttle training as a flight cadet. Though she became engaged to Apollo, her training was kept a secret due to his schedule and the number of recruits. He only found out after she had completed her first solo training flight. When a disease spread among the Viper pilots, Apollo was forced to retrain her for Vipers. On her first flight, Serina took part in a raid on a Cylon asteroid base.[1] Following the attack, Galactica and the fleet entered a void where ships were liable to get lost if not in tight formation. Serina took part in a patrol as Apollo's wingman, claiming a sudden change in the roster; Starbuck refused to accept this, and all three pilots took part in the patrol instead. During this patrol Starbuck was captured by the Cylons, convincing Serina she had to get sealed to Apollo right away or they may never live to see it. During their ceremony, the planet Kobol was discovered, and Galactica's newly trained pilots set up camp. While she investigated the Tomb of the Ninth Lord of Kobol with Commander Adama, they were standed inside when their prisoner, Count Baltar, sprung a trap. They were freed when the Cylon attack damaged the tomb. The group made it outside, but Serina was shot by a Centurion pair sent by Baltar as his own trap. She was taken to Galactica to seek medical attention, but died soon after.[2]
