The Number Ones were the first model of Humanoid Cylon designed by the Final Five following their alliance with the Colonial Cylons. The Final Five made him in the image of Ellen Tigh's father and named him "John".[1] Number One's preferred disguise was as monotheist priest[2], often going by the name "Brother Cavil".

Biography[]

Being created first, Number One assisted the Final Five in the construction of his other brothers and sisters, gaining insight into resurrection technology and the creation of humanoid life. During the interwar period, while living on The Colony, Number One started to become jealous of Number Seven model "Daniel", as he perceived to be the favorite of his mother Ellen. This ultimately led Number One to contaminate the amniotic fluid of all Number Seven models, effectively killing the entire line.

Becoming increasingly uncomfortable in his humanoid body, Number One began to plot a series of events, which resulted in Final Five's deaths, memory wipe, and implantation in the Twelve Colonies. Using the knowledge, he gained while helping develop other Cylon models, he also re-programmed his brothers and sisters to wipe their memories and program them to not think of the Final Five.[1]
