The Loki-type was a heavy cruiser that served as a fleet support ship in the Colonial Fleet during the Cylon War. This class would be assigned to larger fleets or battlestar groups as a lightly armed support ship for protection. As a Fleet Support Ship, the Loki-type was designed to transfer munition, goods, and spare parts to combat ships.
Characteristics[]
A three-part hull distinguished the Loki-type beneath a dome superstructure that terminated in a huge alligator head. This contained the ship's complement of 35 KEW and two landing bays. The gigantic hulls had 81 cargo holds with cranes for moving large quantities of goods and armaments.[2]
