The Imperious Leader was a Cylon which took control of the Cylon Empire following the demise of its predecessor at the Battle of Carillon.[1] Functionally it was near identical to its predecessor with the same voice, though, being created long after its predecessor, was more familiar with emotion. Rather than continue the systematic annihilation of mankind, the Imperious Leader was more open to Count Baltar's desire for the survivors to be neutralised and kept under control.
