Glen Albert Larson (January 3, 1937 - November 14, 2014) was an American photoplay writer and producer, most notably on television. He most often worked out of Universal City Studios, headquarters of the Universal Pictures And Television Corporation.

Before turning to motion picture and television writing and production, Larson had been a member of "The Four Preps," a 1950s vocal group whose members also included Bruce Broughton and David Somerville. In his productions, Larson often wrote and/or composed, sometimes by himself and sometimes jointly, their themes.

The creator and executive producer of the original 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica, which he created and produced for Universal Television, he was also a writer on the 2004 version of Battlestar Galactica, which was also produced by Universal Television. In his later years, however, he came to be embroiled in a feud with Ronald D. Moore, operating producer of the 2004 version of the series, the majority of whose alterations of his original concept and production he hated. Moore never forgave Larson for what he (Moore) saw as the latter's pettiness.
