The Galleon was a "great ship", that departed from Galleon Meadow on Kobol some 2000 years before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies., that carried Twelve Tribes to their new home, among the stars.[2]
History[]
For some 50 years, the Galleon traveled the stars, carrying the last of humanity to their new home. An unknown disaster struck, and the Galleon was abandoned on the outskirts of the Cyrannus Star System, with the survivors making landfall on the barely hospitable world of Gemenon.
The wreck of the Galleon was discovered by the Cylons during the First Cylon War. She was destroyed closely after by BSG-75 led by the Galactica, to deny her secrets to Cylons.[3]
