Evelyn Adama was a legal secretary and long time friend and wife Joseph Adama, of whom she took her surname.
Biography[]
Evelyn was of Tauron heritage, and likely one of the refugees who settled in Caprica City during the Tauron Civil War. Growing up with Yuseef Adama - then calling himself "Joseph Adams" - she gave him a lighter when he first went out to law school to be a defence attorney; he would keep on to the lighter the rest of his life as a good luck charm.[1] When he started up his legal firm, Evelyn was employed as his legal secretary under an agreement she not take up PA tasks like pouring coffee. Though the two respected one another, Joseph would marry Shannon and have two children, Tamara and Willie.
In the year 1942, Shannon and Tamara were killed in an unsanctioned bombing by a rogue Soldiers of the One cell. In the months that followed she watched as Joseph's mental state deteriorated from grief and, obsessed with a digital recreation of Tamara, Tamara-A, became addicted to Amps. With her own Holoband, Evelyn entered the game "New Cap City" under the username Emmanuelle and led him to Tamara-A, who pretended to kill herself in a plan with Emmanuelle to make him accept his daughter's death and move on.[2]
