Electronics Countermeasures Officer, commonly known as an ECO, was a position held by Raptor crews within the Colonial Fleet. The purpose of the ECO was to use the Raptors' computer equipment, which ranged from photometric studies of planetary atmospheres to the disruption of a missile's trajectory.
