The Cylon Empire was a vast interstellar empire ruled by the reptilian Cylon race and, later their mechanical creations under the Imperious Leader. The Empire ruled a larger stretch of territory dubbed the "Cylon Alliance", which included planets settled on by alien beings but controlled by a Cylon military government.[1]
