Specialist Brad D. Socinus was a technician in the Colonial Fleet, and served aboard Galactica.

Biography

Socinus was part of a conspiracy among Galactica's deck crew to cover-up a sexual relationship between Chief Galen Tyrol and Lieutenant Sharon Valerii after it was ordered to end. This cover-up fell under greater scrutiny during an investigation into a suicide bombing on Galactica, which required the bomber gain entry via C Causeway to a small arms locker. When asked about Tyrol's whereabouts in the lead-up to the bombing, all of his subordinates gave conflicting stories. When brought under a tribunal, Socinus caved under pressure and claimed to have lied to hide that he had deserted his post to reach the galley early, having left "C" Causeway's hatch open. Socinus was subsequently found to have lied when Tyrol himself gave his whereabouts, but he was kept in the brig for the duration of his sentence nonetheless.
