Battlestar Galactica #6, otherwise known as Classic Battlestar Galactica #6, is the sixth issue of Dynamite Entertainment's 2013 Classic Battlestar Galactica miniseries, released as part of the franchise's thirty-fifth anniversary celebration.

Synopsis[]
"Red Shift"[]
Having completed Blue Shift, Sergeant Omega is relieved as Officer of hte Watch on the bridge of the Galactica by Lieutenant Athena. As she beings Red Shift, Athena is informed by Omega that Colonel Tigh is aboard the Ariadna, leading a repair crew in person. Athena orders two Viper Squadrons to get ready in their launch bays: Red Flight led by Captain Apollo will run recon into the charted quadrant while Blue Flight commanded by Lieutenant STarbuck scouts the storm zone. She also contacts Colonel Tigh to ask for a status report on the Ariadna. He is considering leaving the ship behind, which will mean relocating 800 refugees to other ships.
Apollo's wingmen are Boomer, Sheba and Jolly while Starbuck launches with Greenbean, Hightail and Breena. Colonel Tigh reports that the Ariadna's Drive Core is damaged to such a degree that evacuation looks to be the only option. When Blue Flight returns, Starbuck's personal technician, Xam, notices some crazy spikes in the ship's readings: they were charged up with high-static energon fields while passing through the storm. An energy bolt leaps out from one of the Vipers and hits Xam, knocking him down and causing a toal power outage on both launch bays. Using Starbuck's lighter as a light source, Xam is trying to repair the burned out Main Relay using nothing but a G-Wrench. Meanwhile, Apollo is leading Red Flight back to the Galactica with Cylon Raiders on their tails. Unfortunately, Athena has no support to give him, but does give the order to Tigh to evacuate the Ariadna immediately. Xam manages to restore power to the launch bays, and Athena quickly orders Starbuck and his pilots to launch again so they can assist Red Flight. To Athena's surprise, Colonel Tigh has gone against her orders and activates the Ariadna's drives so it can join the Galactica. He has decided the old crate does not deserve to be ditched after all. Athena orders the entire fleet to advance into the Storm Zone.
Some time later, Athena reports to Commander Adama. By entering the Storm Zone, the fleet managed to shake the Cylons off their tail. The Ariadna is running sweetly. She hands over the duties of Officer of the Watch to her father.
