Synopsis[]
"The Last Hiding Place"[]
Jolly is floating in space, waiting for Boomer's ship, the "Echo", to pick him up. Apollo has been doing some research aboard the Galactica and has discovered that 47 of the 50 richest people in the fleet have quietly disappeared. Two of the remaining three are currently on a tour of the supply terminal facilities, where freight drones are launched. This is exactly where several of the others were last seen.
Boomer and Jolly find some of the Pirate raiders pushing a large ball of ice. They originated on an independent ore hauler from Leo, the "Justice". Suddenly, the raiders have disappeared. Aboard the Galactica, Shadrack is still searching for clues to find the way to Earth. Starbuck mentions that the symbol of the 9th Lord of Kobol looks like some kind of course plot, and Shadrack is suddenly struck with an idea.
Jolly and Boomer board the Rising Star, and are surprised by Apollo who is already there. Apollo thinks that the rich have gone underground in a secret hideout. The fact that the luxury suites on the Star have been stripped confirm his suspicions. Boomer uses the Echo's scanners and finds a hidden room underneath the Rising Star. Jolly and Apollo head to the maintenance tunnels. As they pass through one of the casino's Jolly is recognized by Pops. The find a fuel cell with a false bottom and drop into the secret hideout. Siress Magda Kocinik turns out to be in charge of the exclusive community of the rich, accesible in secret by using the Freight Drones.
Magda intends to dispose of Apollo and Joly by putting them into balls of ice and jettison these into the Rising Star's exhaust. After that, doubles of the two men, wearing ectoplasmic masks, will return to the fleet. One of the Raiders steps forward and reveals himself to be Starbuck in disguise. Magda threatens to fire a Proton Disruptor at the Colonial Warriors, but Jolly destroys the machine with a well aimed flying kick. Magda hurries to a control panel. Starbuck stuns her, but she reached the panel just in time to send a signal to The Justice. Realizing their cover is blown, the Justice Boys prepare to activate the star drive, but it is taken out by a laser blast fired from the Galactica. Magda's followers surrender. Jolly recocnizes his ex room-mate Pops in the crowd, but Apollo identifies him as Sire Kocinick, Magda's husband. He was the Raider's inside man and the precious photograph of his wife contained coded information telling the Raiders where to strike next.
Some time later, Adama adresses the fleet. He announces that Master-Tech Shadrack has discovered the key to the course for Earth in the symbol of the 9th Lord of Kobol itself. Together with the knowledge Adama gained inside the Memory Machine, they have been able to plot a course to Earth and the entire fleet will leave within an hour. Athena takes Boxey to Apollo's quarters, where the boy is surprised by Muffit, who has been completely repaired. They are joined by friends and family, but Jolly soon excuses himself, saying he has been ordered to make the jump aboard the Burnham. There he reunites with Medea. Adama tells Colonel Tigh to engage the star drive and the fleet begins it's long journey towards Earth.
Sire Magda Kocinick and her allies have been left behind in the Justice, with it's broken star drive. They are noticed by a pilotless stalker satellite, which alerts the Cylon's to the ship's presence.
