Synopsis[]
Athena is held captive in an old Tylium mine on the ice-planet of Thrace. Diana ensures her that Adama will comply to Osiris' wishes and that Athena will still be killed as the reactor has been rigged to explode. As Diana leaves, Athena starts to short circuit the control pad of her holding cel. Apollo and Starbuck have landed on Thrace and observe many Cylon Centurions surrounding the old mine. Apollo leaps into action instead of playing it safe, to the surpise of Starbuck. Diana gives orders to a Centurion. After the Cylon leaves, Athena comes out of hiding and the two women start to fight. Apollo and Starbuck are witness to the fight between Diana and Athena on a large monitor in a security room. Apollo stops Athena from doing permanent damage to Diana. Starbuck is willing to shoot Diana dead to avenge the death of Kandi, but Diana escapes when the reactor rumbles loudly.
The Colonials flee from the about to explode building, but are confronted by Centurions. Then four more Vipers arrive, being flown by Adama, Boomer, Jolly and Zac. Diana tries to abort the countdown but is unsuccessful. Lucifer appears on her viewscreen and tells her that the Cylons have already found a replacement for Osiris. Diana then contacts her father who is in the middle of a Quorum meeting on Caprica. She tells him she loves him just before the old mine exlodes around her.
Starbuck and Apollo join the others in their own Vipers, with Athena doubling up with her brother. In space, they fight a squadron of Cylon Raiders and face a Base Star. But when Tigh arrives with the Galactica, the Cylons retreat. Councilor Romo informs President Adar that Adama has arrrived. Starbuck and Baltar enter the council chambers and play McKintosh's confession on the viewscreen. Osiris attempts to take Adar hostage but is shot dead by Starbuck. Adar asks Adama to resume his place on the Quorum and Starbuck notes that there is now an opening on the Quorum for Baltar.
Later, a ceremony is held aboard the Galactica in which Adama is officialy reinstated, Baltar's place on the Quorum is announced, Apollo is promoted to Captain and Starbuck to Lieutenant. Adama tells Starbuck that his old instructor Wyler would have been proud of him. Later, at the Memorial to the Colonial Warrior, Apollo echoes this sentiment. When Jolly, Zac and Boomer arrive, Starbuck proposes that they all visit the Rising Star. Baltar is in communcation with the Imperious Leader and asures him that he only needs two Yahrens to make the Colonials believe that the Cylons want nothing more than peace.

Notes[]
- The ice moon of Thrace is a nod to Kara "Starbuck" Thrace from the re-imagined series.
- Cylons are refered to as "Toasters" varoius times, a habit from the re-imagined series rather than the classic version.
- In the background during Adar's ceremony commemorating the actions of Apollo, Starbuck, Adama and Baltar, a large wall plaque for the "Office of the President" features the Colonial seal from the re-imagined series. The plaque is directly reminiscent of the one first featured in President Richard Adar's office in "Epiphanies."
