Type-C Basestar[1] was a type of warship utilized by the Cylons in the closing years of the Cylon War. Visually, Type C closely resembles the Modern Basestar, albeit with a more industrial look, compared to the organic one of the latter type. It is the first known type that is controlled by a Hybrid, rather than conventional control.
History[]
None is known about the history of this type, barring from its involvement in the Operation Raptor Talon where a Colonial Task Force of 3 Jupiter-class battlestars engaged a Cylon fleet defending an Ice Planet where this type of basestar landed. Following the Armistice, the basestar is moved to an unknown location.[2]

- It is unknown if this type of Basestar does not carry any weapons, or if the Guardian Basestar expended its ammunition sometimes before the Battle of the Guardian Basestar, but both Colonial raptors were not fired upon while approaching the basestar.
