Admiral was a flag officer rank used by the Colonial Fleet.[1] Its equivalent in the Colonial Marine Corps is the rank of General. An Admiral was in charge of Colonial Fleet, and alongside the General of the Marine Corps responded directly to the Admiralty[2].
