Commander Adama was a Caprican and the commanding officer of Galactica.

Life during the war[]
Adama served in the military of the Twelve Colonies of Man in the final years of its thousand yahren war with the Cylon Alliance.[1] Before commanding the Galactica, Adama worked in a military institute which studied trained telekinesis. His learned abilities were seldom used following this, due to his overuse of eating utensils angering his new wife, Ila, and his sons Apollo and Zac grew up unaware of his abilities.[2]
